The Heat Baseball coaching
season runs from August 2011 to August 2012
-
The coaches are the main contact for parents and players throughtout the
practice and playing season
-
Coaches are responsible for
selecting their teams players based on the New Berlin Heat's player
tryout forms.

The top 8 scoring tryout
candidates automatically make the team, the remaining 4 to 5
positions are based on initial tryout scores and any subsequent
tryouts to be determined by the coach to select the best candidates
to fill the team.

Each head coach is
responsible for scheduling home and away league games, at least
three tournaments and any non-league or scrimmages they choose.

Coaches submit their game
schedule to the WSYBL, Arbitor, or MMFL to their age appropriate league
coordinator, to the Heat Administrative group, as well as supplying
each player/parent with an updated game/tournament schedule.

Each coach should also
submit a copy of their game/tournament schedule to the Web
Coordinator for posting on their respective team page.

| 4. Coaches contact all individuals that tried out on their
status within 1 day of the tryouts |
|
| 5. Coaches will schedule, run and find judges for any
"make-up" or call-backs for tryouts |
|
| 6. Coaches will contact the "make-up" or "call-back"
participants after all tryouts are finalized |
|
| 7. After all selected team players are contacted a roster is
developed and forwarded to the Heat Coordinator within one week
of finalizing player tryouts. |
